General Plumber / Plumbing Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable General Plumber to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has experience in residential plumbing systems, including new construction, remodels, and repairs, and takes pride in delivering safe, code-compliant, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems
  • Rough-in plumbing for new construction and additions
  • Set fixtures including sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, and faucets
  • Install and connect water supply lines, drains, vents, and sewer lines
  • Read and interpret plumbing layouts, blueprints, and specifications
  • Identify plumbing issues and provide solutions efficiently
  • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards
  • Pressure test systems and check for leaks
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Coordinate work with project managers and other trades

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Residential Plumber or Plumbing Technician
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools
  • Experience with PVC, CPVC, PEX, copper, and cast iron
  • Ability to read plans and follow plumbing layouts
  • Physically able to lift materials and work in confined spaces
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance
  • Professional attitude and strong attention to detail

Preferred (Not Required)

  • State or local plumbing license (or working toward licensure)
  • Experience with coastal or Florida-specific construction codes
  • Backflow certification or gas line experience
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
